We blend this unique oyster shell and flour material with 1/4" minus fine or even finer 2mm decomposed granite and crushed stones in Arizona and Texas, depending upon the color of blend requested. This is because the geology of the Southwest favors certain rock color formations in different regions. We try to work with Texas ingredients as much as possible but for the benefit of superior quality, we often need to visit quarries outside of Texas. Blended materials will indicate the region of production. For those players who in particular use or want to have large to full size 13 x 91-foot courts with a hard and very fast playing surface.
